Given the recent political changes in Pakistan, I think, hunting
terrorists on their soil is less of a danger now than it was
a year ago.

I confess I was wary of that, military operations on the territory
of a country that was a military dictatorship. That is, until
I learned that changed a year ago. It was certainly impossible
before, as the risk of a nuclear confrontation was high,
but I guess it's less of a danger to World peace now.

I agree, and Obama is trying to win the beauty queen contest
from those Americans who saw Bush's emerging fascist
regime as strong security and anti-terrorist efforts.
Still, military operations on the territory of a sovereign
nuclear country, which is not exactly friendly to the United
States. Dangerous indeed.

"Pakistan hopes that Obama will be more patient while dealing
with Pakistan," Husain Haqqani, Pakistan's ambassador to
Washington, said in an interview Wednesday with Pakistan's Geo
television network. "We will review all options if Obama
does not adopt a positive policy towards us."
He urged
Obama to "hear us out."
