that path is to wastrel land

the correct path
- cars should be bought with 50% cash down
- cash should be 100% backed by gold measured oz for set cash
- debt default should be punished via recourse to all other asset
- debt collection should be achievable through any judge reading the specific contract ad simply issue a wind-up order enforceable globally

By the way, the Washington Mutual has found a few problems with this practice. Of course, their solution was to get the family dog to co sign the loan.

That has not worked out well in practice.
