Hi, couldn't resist, bought few hundred shares of NOVL today (AGAIN!) to add to my already loss sufferring pile of Novell stock! Novell seems holding well in the mid of turmoils, people must have certain confidence in NOVELL at this level for all the new products that hit the street in the next 12 months. I have been with this dog for over 2 1/2 years, a very reluctant long term investor disregard whether I have patience or not. I see Novell as the old CA, it made mistakes and it re-organized, fix a new direction, and go all the way. Everyone (with little sense) is using Internet, everyone who has a job is using somesort of messaging tool from inside of office to connect to outside world (well, that is intranet to extranet, not everyone one yet, but that is the trend, nobody can resist that trend). Our Dr. Eric S. has a vision, I am a believer, as long as he steers Novell towards that direction, Novell will have tomorrow. Java is very useful for Internet, maybe it is slow but remember pc 286? 386? 486? 589? remember modem 1200? 2400? 9600? 14400? 28800? 36,000? ... 56,000? Tools will be improved as time goes by, nobody can stop that, not even with Bill Gates money and power. As long as Java is pushed the way it is, the improvement will evolve and I believe a lot of people is just doing that now. So, what is to worry? We shall only worry Novell does not collect good management fast enough, they have a good direction, they have a good leader, they have big market, they have good products, gather good marketing people is the only thing they need, that is my only worry and that is my only wish, I bet my money on it!
