This is because of the Sixty Minutes piece. It must have come as a big shocker to Israel. To my knowledge, that's the first time the American media has called a spade a spade. I believe that this newspaper article pre-dates the 60 minute piece...but the point is that there are people in Israel that recognize the problem and that's encouraging. I am reading a great book by Scowcroft and Bzrezinsky...talks a lot about the Israel/Palestinian problem. These two guys have a lot of experience with it...excellent work. I recommend it. Al
