"But if he's the worst or one of the worst Obama has to throw at us, that's a large step up from Bush."

No kidding. In fact, there is no comparison.

I'm reserving judgement on Geithner. Obama chose HIM, from his entire array of fine choices, and backed him through the tax problems. He must have a reason.

Z, > I'm not. But if he's the worst or one of the worst Obama has to throw at us, that's a large step up from Bush.

LOL, I'm sure all of the Treasury secretaries that served under Bush remembered to pay their taxes.

But even that wouldn't be the worst Obama has to throw as us. I'd pick Leon Panetta, the new head of the CIA, as the worst so far. Gov. Jennifer Granholm and Mayor Antonio Villaragosa being on the economic advisory committee also comes to mind.
