I don't have the National Geographic channel. My cable channel choices stink, and we're considering dumping it all together. Not worth the exorbitant price we pay each month.

I was laying on my bed watching tv when the news flashed him being shot. About the same instant the phone rang and it was the submarine recalling everyone as we were placed on war status and needed to be ready to go to sea. Got to the boat and the reactor was up and running and we were ready to go. Spent the better part of the day there when it was concluded we had one mentally deranged guy not a Soviet spy or something.

Cold war was an interesting period of time. No matter what happened the first default was the USSR must have had something to do with it.
