This brings up a bunch of questions. What is the current capacity of Sandisk's fab? I couldn't find any info on the web site. How much does it cost to build a fab to make flash? I know Sandisk contracts out to Matsushita to build flash. Do they have their own fab? Assuming Sandisk can sell 3M shares on the secondary at $30/share, that's 90M. Then add 50M cash they currently have, that's 140M. Is it enough to build a fab making 0.35 micron chips?

Anyone knows?
