I agree but it did take the reagan revolution to get the wheels of industry turning again. If carter has won in 80, things would have worsened imho. Liberals then didnt get that then, nor do many purists now. And our cons here dont get that supply side in good shape now, its demand side destroyed by housing, growing unemployment and failed stock markets that's killing us now. What we need now are jobs and expanded safety nets, and infrastructure build out and tax cuts for low and middle class. Businesses incentive will come when shoppers return, not by changes in lowering rates.
