Most of Washington has reached quick consensus: Government must do something big to shock the economy, and it should cost between $800 billion and $900 billion. Is there anyone but me that finds this statement incredible. I do so love it when an article starts right off with a lie. I find this hard to believe when the majority of economists have said just the opposite and that any so called 'stimulus package' would be more than just wasteful. It's basically like methadone to a junkie, when only quitting is the cure....
