I read Rush's transcripts, or try to, at least once a week...That way I don't have to pay attention to all the desk thumping, and bombast that he sometimes resorts to. To me it's just noise. But when he is serious, he is more correct than any other commentator out there... Plus try as they might, Rush does his homework, and the Libs can't find holes in it.... We should be so lucky as to think that the Libs would do theirs too.... Can you imagine some like Chris Mathews, or Obermann, etc doing anything of the sort? Even Katie Couric who really should do hers, fails more often than not.

You know there's a fire someplace if someone tells you NOT to listen to someone...whether it is Rush or not. I remember when I was about 15, my Mom said I could read any book in the house, except Forever Amber. Well, we had just moved, and I know it was someplace in all the boxes of books I had helped to pack. SO, what do you think I spent some time in finding....Yep, you're right. Somewhat steamy for its day, but today, compared to Cosmo on the newstands, it's quite tame. Anyhow, beware when people tell you not to read something. They are the ones that should read Saul Alinski, and see that there is a whole lot of smoke, if not a fire there....Obama has seen the beam, and so far, he's following it .... Makes me very sad, because I hoped he would not do as he said he would do in following the path to Socialism or worse. He's on the path now, IMO.
