I completely disagree. Gold bugs tend to be armageddonists, with a complete collapse waiting just around the corner (that never arrives, by the way). One has to recognize that the positive processes that led to this change in our country started some time ago, with intelligent folks like Michael Moore or Aaron Russo raising public awareness about the fascist tendencies and threats to the freedoms in our society. They turned out to be relevant. In some sense we were lucky to get an economic crisis last year. W got the blame. -g- Another thought - the robbery of the century this Fall would not have happened had Obama been not a threat to the crooks.
