all this talk i keep hearing about 'stabilizing housing prices' (soros on cnbs right now, and a guy on earlier this morning) is no different than saying 'stocks are at a permanently high plateau'

i'm sorry to inform them that prices WILL stabilize at some point, but only when the interventionist modalities stop....who would buy a house that was 'propped up' by a gov't program....if you buy the artificially at the artificially inflated price....who do you get to SELL it to? the us treasury? the fed?
