Well, it took 4-5 years for the Soviet Union to collapse from honest talk and these "processes" in the society, and THAT was a dictatorship. US isn't, it never came even close. Of course, the same people ran the show after the coup, and the economic crisis really hit hard in 1992-93, 2 years after the collapse of totalitarian regime, but things changed... forever. Here we won't have a revolution. A new president will be elected. Totalitarian tendencies are pretty much finished, as they are widely recognized. Talk. -g- The society, and WS in particular, will never be crime free. In fact, expect that part to pick up as the crisis gets worse.
