Skeets, I think the VP was saying that the addition of the two new companies would boost the 97DEC qtr's revenues, thus reversing some of the negative impact of the <1 book to bill.

His statement is as follows:

====> Although softness in orders caused the book-to-bill ratio to slip below one-to-one during third quarter, we expect both acquisitions to contribute to fourth quarter 1997 revenues.'' <===

But, as you said, it is interesting that he didn't say anything about the impact on the earnings.
