I saw twice situations when the people didn't know what they were in for. In 1981 I told the fellows In Brazil: "for this is going to be really tough." (Then I'd been preparing myself for 2 years already). They laughed me out of the beer table we were talking after work. It took the Lost Decade for them to come out. In Nigeria, I was there a month or two (1983) when I heard them saying soon the streets will be paved with gold again. It nose dived never to witness a surplus they had had for the decade 1973-1983. Such is the nature of the humans brain who thinks in terms of cycle, of returns to a past... I can tell you this people -in ten years- will never even know what they have lost...
