"Israel annexed the West Bank."

Really?
By the way there were many thoughtful arabs back in 1967 and some were pals who thought this would be a good idea back then. Imagine if you will, full rights for all pals within israel and massive economic development in arab areas. A true one state/two nations solution.
At the end of the day, israel saw the future demographic problem and arab nationalism as well as arab state intransigence overcame a desire for a better life for pal peoples. Just like today, israel is fearing demographic nightmare and now islamist radicals are the rejectionists.

No, they annexed East Jerusalem, not the West Bank. The west bank was called and treated as occupied territory, not formally part of Israel.
