JBuilder is a non-event, the last thing we need is another language, especially one without pointers, you have to have pointers.

While I like the flexibility of pointers, I certainly don't discount a language without them. Remember, I'm the guy who thinks we ought to give up all this newfangled crap and use COBOL and PL/I.

As far as I'm concerned Java is none of the things that have been discussed on this thread todate. To me Java is nothing but a marketing brand.
