Now you get the obama/mccain senate deal that gurantees at least 10 rep votes in senate.
I view what reps did in house as political. How many more seats can they lose in 2010 if plan works and obama popular. Not that many and bailout vote shouldnt be key issue in local elections in 2 years. Senate makes the compromise. Then perhapas house reps come onboard or not. If plan fails and obama not popular then house reps set up to take seats in 2010 which is typical on off year elections.
