The gov. is the largest mortgage holder, if not already.

what we are watching is the nationalization of real estate. with the passage of the cram down bills, private money for real estate lending will essentially disappear. who will lend when the local gov't mortgage czar can step in a simply modify the amount and terms of the loan? Every borrower will be in hock to the gov't. wanna bet your mortgage contains some provisions you don't like?
