That's the first piece I've seen on the package that puts it into context and weighs the arguments on both sides. Most everything else I hear is driven by ideology and assumptions on both sides of the spectrum.

This is just typical NY Times Twaddle. The Times is based in the heart of entitlement country in an entitlement state. NYC hasn't known how to manage its money ever since they refused to take rent control off after WWII. You can't legislate for the hard working nation based on what some profligate cultural and financial center's values are.
