Then you have your opportunity to prove it. The Japanese as you pointed out save a greater percentage of their earnings than we do. Because of that, they purchase less per capita, so to stimulate an economy which is not as consumer driven as we are, the Japanese tried to stimulate their economy through government spending to make up for the lack of consumerism. This did not work out as they had hoped.

We are a consumer driven economy which spends much more, so the economies are very distinct, yet, we are also trying to do what the Japanese tried. You stated that it our economies are different, and I look forward to your answer after a few classes fifty years ago and your reading...
