I never said any such thing. I am in favor of tax cuts and infrastructure spending.....not in favor of expanding social spending....

Jlallen doesn't understand basic economics which is the case with all House Republikans who voted down tax cuts in order to not take any responsibility whatsoever for anything that ever happens in the future. In other words, the House Republikans are useless in their jobs.

That was an incredibly cowardly gesture yesterday by the Republikan Voting Block.

Every CEO of every major corporation understands that the government is the spender of last resort, the lender of last resort, the borrower of last resort. We are living in the era of last resorts and the one solution is to create jobs. We would be better off raising taxes at the top in order to stimulate current investment instead of lowering taxes and spurring more squirreling away of assets. That is exactly what has happened with the banks and the bailouts are making the banks sit on assets and refuse to restructure mortgages and refuse to make loans...they are waiting for money from heaven to bailout their stupid decisions.

We have seen this before and the Republikan ideology which got us to this fiasco in the first place is trying to make things worse.
