There seems to be credible evidence that some Palestinians are instilling a 'code of martredom' in young children and otherwise innocent civilians that encourages the voluntary shielding conduct. This is more complicated than holding an innocent in front of you or 'hiding behind a woman's skirt.' It is something evil, condemnable, and undeniable at this point. It is an issue of its own, separate from the issue of urban battle and separate from what ever Israeli or neocon evil you can mention, which may exist as condemnable and unsupportable. It does not vacate the Palestinian cause or validate the Israelis. Why not treat it as such? Condemning one does not equal supporting another.
