Obama: Wall Street bonuses shameful, irresponsible

Thu Jan 29, 2009 3:45pm EST

WASHINGTON, Jan 29 (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama on Thursday said large bonuses received by Wall Street executives last year were "shameful."

He said his administration would tell financial executives that they needed to show restraint.

"When I saw an article today indicating that Wall Street bankers had given themselves $20 billion worth of bonuses ... That is the height of irresponsibility. It is shameful," Obama told reporters while meeting with Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner.

Looked like he was going to a funeral,,,so he chose the flat-black dress down look.

...but the hair..?
At least spit on your hand and stop it from sticking out all over. Maybe tonight he'll spend $2550 for a new Swiss "hair-dew" compliments of the stock holders?
