I don't see any way that I am screwed ... some people are screwed, I'm not screwed. We have no debt. We grow or raise much of my own food, live in the middle of some of the most resource rich lands in the world. ....But I have kids and I want them to have a world they can live in and prosper in. I don't see any way we can ever determine with any degree of certainty whether the spending bill is a good idea or not. And that is likely true - I agree with you, but don't you think we should try? That is why I argue for things in the stimulus plan that we need anyway. We need more broadband to make us competitive, we need more infrastructure because we haven't spent hardly anything on this compared to our wealth. We need an updated power grid for a lot of reeason. We need more energy dependence so why aren't shifting of wealth top the ME. Sooooo, why not put people to work on this? steve
