We have had no greater assault on the Constitution in my lifetime than the largely successful one that has occurred over the last 8 years under Bush and the Republicans. In your lifetime, maybe if you're under 64. Read a bit about what WW and FDR did, makes Bush look like an amateur. Or are those bums your heroes?

Our Constitution has been under assault from both the left and the right, Dems and the GOP, socialists and fascists, along with activist judges who have ruled that the Constitution doesn't mean what it says it does. If you weren't such a dimbulb, you wouldn't automatically assume that anyone who disagrees with your POV is automatically a Bush supporter and/or a Republican. In fact, I am neither, as any astute reader of my occasional posts could discern. In the future, when you feel inclined to attack a position or policy, try to grasp a basic understanding of what it really is beforehand.
