Touche. However, Apple has ridden a wave of prosperity on the back of the iPhone. So my point still holds. We can solve two problems with one effort. Investment and incubation of the renewables industry can provide an increase in our standard of living, combat this recession, even as we wean ourselves off of oil. It's a win-win-win.
