Do you hate Barney Frank and Dodd for what they did ??

Both are beneath contempt. Honorable people would never associate with either.

I'm not crazy about Frank for helping that bank close to his district. But, I think there should have been more transparency in the TARP deal to SPECIFICALLY forbid that kinda thing in the first place.

If you're talking about Frank and Freddie and Fannie, then I think there were some major crossed wires on that whole thing, but the MAIN problem wasn't in some Democrats wanting more homes loans made available to the poor, it was in the fact that there was always sort of an "incestuous" thing with those two banks. The principals in those banks were backed by the government but they ALSO could make big bucks by spinning out more mortgages. They were like defense contractors in that they could be BACKED by the government and also had an incentive to SCREW the government.

On Dodd, I don't like that he got a "cozy" deal from a mortgage broker. That should NOT be allowed. If you're talking about Dodd regarding Freddie and Fannie, then see above.
