BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- For the war-beaten orphans of the northern Iraqi city of Tikrit, this big old shoe fits.

A huge sculpture of the footwear hurled at President Bush in December during a trip to Iraq has been unveiled in a ceremony at the Tikrit Orphanage complex.

It is nothing short of ASTOUNDING that Iraqis now have the freedom to do crap like this -- after only a few years.

Consider how long it took the American democracy to evolve.

Iraq is free, is a democracy, and it is because of GW Bush. That his detractors can actually DISSENT in Iraq is just something.
