John: Krugman is the guy outside the box that keeps trying to get those inside to think outside. Plus, he's hyper brilliant You don't think Obama thinks outside the box? I think his visions go way beyond anything Krugman could cook up. And as far as "hyper brilliant"; I've never known or heard of a hyper brilliant person that could transform smarts to pragmatic results. It takes a different brain. I agree with you on the importance of health care. It is critical we do something here as our current system is broken. But any fix is going to be hugely expensive. Where does all this money come from John? Do you have no worry about our dollar? About the debt we are placing on our childrens shoulders? Do you think it is right that you get health care and are able to live beyond your means because our politicians have not made the hard choices and instead just put it all on the credit card? Don't you see how the reckless spending under Bush is largely responsible for where we find ourselves today - and what Krugman wants will dwarf any spending that Bush could have ever of dreamed of - and that's saying a lot. steve
