michael, Israel can reduce Hamas and its leadership to nothing by simply being nice to the Palestinians. Regardless what they think of Israel and its people. Showing a nicer side of Israel and offer the Palestinians a fair deal (I mean not only fair to Israel but also to the Palestinians), will reduce Hamas support to nil. After all Hamas was created to fill the gap that Israel and Fatah did not fill. I mean socially. You only see and hear about attacks from Hamas, in actual fact they also provide hospital, daycare, schools, etc. That is why they have an overwhelming support in Gaza. The more Israel bombs Gaza the more people in Gaza support Hamas.
