If you spend the money on food, you probably benefit the farmer, the distributor, the transportation sector.

If you spend the money on health care, you stay healthy to work and pay more taxes.

If you spend the money on education, you make yourself or your kids more productive.

Even if you spend the money elsewhere, you help somebody keep their job.
