"one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed."

and

The most logical conclusion about his birth certificate is that it proves he is not a natural citizen.

Combining both statements I would rather conclude less:

His birth certificate definitely has facts worth (100ks of $$$) hiding but it doesn't necessarily prove that he is not a natural born citizen.

Pretty sure that intelligent dudes like Ted and Mickey cannot argue with this conclusion.

If they do they'd subjectively disappoint me a lot and objectively draw some serious doubt with regard to their common sense; educational levels and reasonable levels of IQ.

"The most logical conclusion about his birth certificate is that it proves he is not a natural citizen."

That is logical, its speculative and its not the only logical conclusion to draw from the circumstance (granted any would be a speculation). The BC might be of crappy quality or have flaws on it, so much so that the criticism which could be made on viewing it would not reflect the reality on the ground at the time of his birth. Like when cops don't sign a traffic ticket, or leave off something that is a required check. He may have had a birth that qualifies him as eye witnesses have testified but it isn't proven by the BC, so he doesn't want it to be a public distraction.
