KLIC is my fondest memory of 1999, but I've barely looked at it since.

Is KLIC, at this point, too important to fail? That is, if it closed doors tomorrow, could any other company step right in and fill the gap?

One of the statements that caught my eye was,

<<Purchases of capital equipment by our customers have gone below maintenance or replacement levels.>>

This kind of environment obviously can't go on forever. At some point the procurement cycle will turn back on and the "pop" to bring back the maintenance and replacement part of the needs in addition to the new requirements ought to really help to increase revenue and earnings quickly.
