I'm just back from a trip to Dubai. 1500 people leave Dubai every day and they have huge problems. In the evenings, most apartments are without any light, some parts seem like Ghost town. It's winter, of course, but still... many of the people that are leaving are from nearby Pakistan. At the same time, living costs are sky-high, even local residents now have problems to pay their rent.
