I was out looking at houses in Palo Alto with my wife. Within four blacks, there is considerable disagreement among sellers about prices. Some people are in still in La-la land, or they are not serious about selling (but the house is empty). $1.05 Mil for a house whose bedrooms slant? Really?

There was more foot traffic than I expected, though. And, Santana Row was pretty crowded Sat. night. I think people are sick of the recession, despite an uptick in layoffs.
