GOP governors press Congress to pass stimulus bill
--------------------------------------------------
Why, hell yes!

WTF do you expect?

I expect that politicians would do what best for the country in a time of crisis... both Republican and Dem.

You seem to think the Republicans are only looking to get reelected?

What a jerk. You see nothing wrong with spending nearly a trillion dollars on Iraq in order to bring them 'democracy' but you get your panties in a knot spending that same amount in your own country. Are you on some kind of weird medication?

Jindal is one of the most consistently honest politicians out there. This is not different from his response about Katrina money, as well.

It is unfortunate, but Senators and Congressmen have a duty to those the represent that sometimes conflicts with that of the nation as a whole.

It would be nice if they could see their way to clear to represent the national interest first. Unfortunately, one can't be elected by doing that -- particularly, in Lousiana, home of Huey "Every Man a King" Long.

It would be great if every state could vote on every congressperson except its own. It would solve a lot of problems
