--Right. Our friend Mr. Bug reminds me, in a way, of the people in the late 90s who had all their money in technology, internet stocks and telecom, and were so very sure that they were right, and everybody else was wrong.

I'm not saying Skeeter is wrong. I'm just saying he reminds me of them, with his cock-sure attitude.

Who's to say gold isn't in a bubble now? Who's to say rates won't stay flat or down for years, zapping his double-short long-bond play?

The fact is,no one knows what is going to happen. The main thing, I think, is to stay diversified, and keep your risk level reasonably low.
