I'm not a meteorologist and I suspect neither are you. But I do know that accepted climate change theory accepts the proposition that so-called global warming is not uniform. Not all areas of the earth necessarily become warmer for it to be real and to have disastrous effects. It's a complex system. I, at least, am wise enough to know how much I do not know. If I leave too much latitude to the scientists and experts in the field, I'm sure you will correct me. <g> And, by the way, Australia is having a doozy of a heat wave again this summer. I don't understand why Antarctica might be cooling but don't think it necessarily disproves the global warming hypothesis. Sam
