again I say to PNH... >>>you might start with the reason you keep track of him, and why you (at least on occasion) listen to his show. There was some discussion of hypocrites on this msg board in the past few posts. If PNH were me, I'd demand that you, Octavian, groanerDaLiar and MathJunkie explain why you keep such close track of what Brinker's critics have to say about him or how we invest and why that matters one iota when discussing Brinker and his cover-ups so he can sell the idea he ads value timing the markets.

I followed his show very closely for a long time. I was naive as I only heard Brinker's good calls (he bragged incessantly on them) and at the time there really wasn't an Internet forum that I knew about. He told me to avoid sharks, but now I feel like he is one of the very sharks he told people to avoid. That is my personal opinion based on what I have since learned about him. It is really how he has handled himself, the way he has burried bad calls, avoids talking about them, etc. I am in many positions that he recommended that I haven't heard him discuss since they have been decimated (like the Vanguard High Yield Corporate Bond Fund for example) and so I am interested in discussing him and hearing what others have to say. I have found though this message board that there are others who share my new discovered opinion about him and that is why I post.
