One of the problems is that we have never before had a nominee who appeared to be not qualified. If this had been fifty years ago the media would have carried the story. Today the leftwingers control the media and use their control for partisan gains. Whether they don't process facts that are not in their favor or if they actively suppress news they don't like is not entirely clear. A democrat controlled government is not going to address the issue now while there is a risk that they would lose power from the backlash against their failures. How much would you like to bet that if the exact same facts were available about a Republican it would be front page for months?
