Perhaps my concerns have more to do with making sure the focus is on qualifications to perform the work. He was talking about infrastructure work, usually dominated by unions. Your response is no different than Rush Limbaugh's. Immediately labeling mine as some sexist or racist driven concern. Your comments are as ignorant as Riech's are. Construction is quite full of women and minorities. So I am not certain why he had to single out professionals and white men. Have you ever thought that maybe I have a wife in the work place? Or maybe my children are not white or males? Or perhaps I am not personally threatened by Riech's comments. Just perhaps concerned that the government should be neutral regarding gender and racial preferences. We do after all have a black man as President.
