From my own experience here, I only know that most all of the workers were illegal in this housing development and can assume that local unemployed were not given the opportunity to learn the skills required.

So if you are an unskilled minority you are not going to get a job over a illegal with carpentry skills, masonry, electrical, etc.

I know many people who own businesses requiring building trades who say they must hire illegals or they wont win the job.

My own kids had a challenge with part time work in typical service business's. When I look into these establishments and most of the workers barely speak English, etc. When the local newspaper police blotter is full of arrests for no drivers license, no insurance, etc.

Is there any denying that there are 8-12 million illegals in the USA? No doubt a majority of them are doing jobs that Americans would do if the wages were fair. You know what happens to an illegal who complains about work conditions or wages? Or is hurt and cant work?

You may want studies, but people on the ground, millions of them know what the truth is.
