My process was a little different. I chose a neighborhood and the developer owned the lots.

I did not say they were non-union. I did not realize they were illegal until several months of visits to the work site. I dont automatically assume someone is illegal because they look like...

I would not have been able to find a developer who would be willing to build a home with all legal workers, when they can make larger margins with the existing method. Maybe now in a buyers market the situation would be different.

Yes I do expect the government to keep control of the borders and make sure the work place is fair to all legal residents.

I do recognize that the higher paid trades controlled by unions aligned with the democrats are dominated by white males. I do see quite a few females and blacks as well, but not as many as one might expect.

So I wait to see leadership from the present administration. Perhaps in 2-3 years I will be astonished that some significant improvement has been made.
