I don't disagree, I simply saw your quote about think tanks and wanted to add some balance.

We won't know how well the water cooler crowd has done until the 2010 mid-term elections. In the meantime, Obama has a roughly 70% approval rating right now, which indicates he has held his support from the election and also has approval from a third of McCain voters too, more or less.
