TH there is no question that gold and other commodities will appreciate in this environment - after all that is exactly what ALL governments want.

Inflation will drive cash out of government treasuries and go into more productive debentures/ loans inherently more risky but with higher returns to jumpstart the economy, this in return may stabilize the employment which is now in a tailspin and after the stabilization if done appropriately (which is wishful thinking IMHO) the economy will stabilize and grow at a slow pace – hopefully – and inflation will subside – again hopefully
