I was actually reading online when I heard it and looked up in disbelief. So, he may have said something additional toward the fans and I missed it. What the heck did Obama have to do with the success of the Pittsburgh Steelers? It was an idiotic thing to say nevertheless.

The genuflecting toward Obama in settings that have nothing to do with politics is disgusting. So many people in Obamaland have suspended common sense and taken the blue pill it astounds me. They will accept everything he does and find some excuse or reason for it.

The Obama administration could announce tomorrow they will be nationalizing grocery stores, WallMarts, Google and Exonn Mobile and you would see people on SI and news networks defending the decision, going through tortured reasoning that contradicted everything they believed in a year ago.

I'm beginning to understand how a nation can go from a Republic to absolute dictatorship. All it takes is one person, with near total control of the media and a willful intellectual class supporting it. That's largely what we see developing today in America. Academia supporting Obama nearly 100%. The Media supporting Obama nearly 100% and a significant portion of Americans willing to suspend belief in the free market system and individual liberty in order to support a perceived quick fix to the economy.

This is not a Centrist approach to governing, nor a balanced approach. This Obama train is going as far left as the eye can see. He may align America closer with Venezuala than Europe with the approach he's taking.

Printing dollars to pay off political graff is a South American approach to government.
