I wasn't doubting you, but I had just looked at a 10 year? chart with the dollar and gold overlain. And I remembered looking to see if gold and the dollar had risen together and could not see it. I did see a small time when gold and the dollar fell together.

But I obviously missed it. Gold has been rising with the dollar lately though which is unusual, which I attributed to the fear factor, but T bills have been falling also and correlate just as well.

But that could be fear of monetization.

Heck, I do not know where we are except I am pretty bullish on gold. Where else does one put money for safety in todays world.

I watched a bit of Davos and saw the Morgan Stanly guy being flipant about taking all the blame, like the debacle really had nothing to do with those guys.
