Whats passed in the house is not the final version. Lets see how this works out. Keep in mind its always politics so nothing will be perfect but i do agree it should be better than what we have gotten so far.

"I don't think i-node was in Congress over the last eight years nor was I..."

Reading comprehension problems again? I always can tell when you don't really have an argument because you try to spin the posts.

"....and many of us voiced our disgust with the profligate spending that both parties and the President acquiesced in over that time period...."

I suppose it depends on your definition of "many". It certainly wasn't a majority, or even a particularly significant minority.

"The fact that some items may not be shockingly large is no excuse. Taken as a whole this is a very bad bill with too much pork and too little stimulus."

Reading comprehension problems, again. I don't see where the case has been made about too much pork and too little stimulus. The only real attempt I have seen is the WSJ opinion piece and it only makes its point by including the support for the unemployed. It also slams things like increasing the number of fuel efficient cars bought by the government, which isn't even correct.
