Fulfilled, only partially fulfilled, never fulfilled.... they will attempt to track all of the promises that they can substantiate that he made publicly. You can gripe and carp all you want to but, in the end, WHAT HAVE YOU GOT? What have YOU brought to the table as far as tracking all this over four or eight years? Although, it's true, SOME of this may come down to 'judgment calls'... a WHOLE LOT OF IT will not require ANY 'judgment' at all... because it is a straightforward "yes or no" take on actions that any fool can see for themselves (such as candidate Obama's promise to sign the Lilly Ledbetter Pay Equity Act, vetoed by Bush). Now signed, that marks one of the "fulfilled" campaign pledges. Doesn't matter a WHIT if it is a "liberal" newspaper, or the most red-blooded right-wing newspaper or Web site you can come up with --- the results for binary actions such as that are NOT IN DISPUTE. But --- I repeat my query: WHAT HAVE YOUR GOT? WHAT HAVE YOU BROUGHT TO THE TABLE? Where is the alternative effort to classify and count President Obama's campaign promises? Reasonable people may and surely will differ about SOME of these things --- but surely not about ALL OF THEM. It would enrich the discussion to compare and contrast DIFFERENT EFFORTS to examine and track the President's fulfillment (or nonfulfillment) of his MANY (well over 500) campaign promises. So... looking forward to you bringing something to the table, Peter... so we can argue them (I guess) one-by-one over the next four to eight years!
